Meet The Roses

Black and white photo of two smiling women inside a small pickup truck, demonstrating a happy moment. The woman in the passenger seat is wearing glasses, a collared shirt, a vest, and a tie. The woman in the back seat is also smiling and appears cheerful. The scene is set outdoors, with trees and a modern building in the background.

What began as a simple 15-minute coffee meet-up turned into a 13-hour conversation that changed everything. One was a leather artist, the other a tattoo artist—both entrepreneurs, both deeply drawn to storytelling through art. What neither anticipated was how naturally their passions, creativity, and vision for community would intertwine.

Ryane founded The Wolf Den in 2017, and a few years later Jess joined the adventure. Together, they evolved the studio into a thoughtfully curated tattoo space rooted in intentional artistry, connection, and creative growth. Their shared dedication to sacred art and meaningful experiences continues to shape The Den into a welcoming and ever-evolving hub for both artists and clients alike.

Now based solely in St. Paul, Minnesota, The Wolf Den has become a destination studio for clients traveling from across the Twin Cities, greater Minnesota, and around the country. Known for hosting talented artists from around the world, the studio specializes in fine line, illustrative, watercolor, abstract, floral, and animal-inspired tattoo work within an elevated, eco-forward environment designed to feel warm, inspiring, and deeply personal.

Outside of the studio, Jess and Ryane spend their time collecting antiques, traveling, riding motorcycles, and creating alongside their two Shiba Inus. Their journey together continues to be fueled by gratitude, curiosity, and a shared belief in building something meaningful through art and community.
